Forging Technology of Outdoor Metal Sculpture
The forging process is relatively simple and the forming method is relatively easy. The forging process of round and relief sculpture is as follows: first, clay sculpture is made, and the mould is turned over on the finished product of clay sculpture. The mould requires that the material of the mould manufacturing process should have a certain thickness. Then, a uniform contact surface is formed with wood loquat on the periphery, and the mud blank in the mould is removed, and then the mould is made with filler material. After dressing, copper or stainless steel materials are cut into different shapes of the surface, which is directly tapped on the die. Copper plate and stainless steel plate should be supported by steel bars. The selected thickness of the sheet is 0.4mm-2mm. The copper sheet has good ductility after heating, while the stainless steel sheet is directly used for cold forging. Because forging is mainly made by hand, the producer can make full use of the ductility of metal materials and give full play to the ability of artistic creation in the process of forging hammer (stainless steel polishing after forging will have two properties of matte and bright, according to the environment of the work to adjust), so that the sheet will have a unique texture effect, thus adding the manual hammer. Simple, produces a strong sense of beauty. The forging technology represents a complementary artistic style formed by the artistic achievements of manual labor in modern industrialized society and the aesthetic sense of mechanization in the previous industrial era.
